Loveland to Get New Grocery Option With WinCo Foods
It seems like a lifetime ago, but after spending a couple of years living in the Pacific Northwest, I came to love a grocery store and would shop there often. When it came time to leave Oregon and return home to Colorado, I was never expecting to shop at this grocery store again.
WinCo Foods Purchases Former Jax Property in Loveland
Or, so I thought. WinCo is a warehouse-style grocery store, and one of my favorite things about the store was the bulk bins. Recently, WinCo announced its expansion into the state of Colorado, and I was excited to hear the news.

According to the Reporter-Herald, WinCo Foods has purchased a building in Loveland. This location is where Jax Outdoor Gear, Farm, and Ranch used to be in East Loveland at 950 East Eisenhower Boulevard. Larimer County property records show that WinCo Foods LLC purchased the property for $7.6 million in late July from the seller, Jax Loveland Property LLC.
When Will the Loveland WinCo Open?
While WinCo Foods is not officially operating in the state of Colorado, the news of a new option when shopping for groceries for Coloradans is certainly something to look forward to. I, for one, cannot wait for WinCo to be open and running here in Northern Colorado. However, we will all have to wait it out until the doors officially open for the first time. When that will be, we are not sure, but we are ready.
