Top 5 Trends From 2015 That Need to Say Bye Bye in 2016

Every year there are trends that I just don't understand. Some of them need to go away. I have compile my "Top 5 Trends From 2015 That Need to Say Bye Bye in 2016":

5. Zombies

This one has been going on for some time some time. I just don't get it. Why are Americans so obsessed by zombies?  No one can argue with the success of "The Walking Dead". It is in its 6th season, but I wish it would walk away and really die. Instead there is now a companion show on AMC called "Fear The Walking Dead".  I fear "The Walking Dead" won't die.

4. Overused Hashtags

I finally figured out how use hashtags and now I am tired of them. 3. Memes

According to Wikipedia:

An Internet meme is an activity, concept, catchphrase or piece of media which spreads, often as mimicry, from person to person via the Internet.

My definition of a meme is a picture with words on it that you see on Facebook or Twitter or other forms of social media. You see memes everywhere. The ones that really bother me are the political ones.  However, I must confess. I am guilty of making memes myself.  Honestly, I am trying to cut down.

2. The Nae Nae

A guy who calls himself Silentó has created the sensation of the year with his song and dance "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)". It has over half a billion views on YouTube. Yes, 500 million. It has gotten to be so popular that I am sick of it and I never listen to it on purpose. You just can't get away from it. Please Silentó, be more like your name.

1. Man Buns

That is a picture of Brian with a man bun. Mollie did that to him. No man should put his hair in a bun...ever!!! I don't even like a woman in a bun. A man wearing a bun is criminal and somehow it has become the hottest hair style of the year. They are even selling fake man buns. Just say no. Don't do it. Ever! I can't wait for man buns to go away.
