According to Les Schwab, your tire pressure can decrease about one pound per square inch every time the temperature goes down ten degrees.

So since we have been recently having warm afternoons and cold temperatures in the morning, your tire pressure in your vehicle may have dropped significantly.

Does it mean that you need to put air in your tire? Not necessarily. As the weather warms up during the day, the air typically returns to normal. However, if you are noticing that your tire pressure is still low throughout the day, it doesn't hurt to check and fill up your tire if needed.
