The Best Neighborhoods in Northern Colorado For Out-Of-Town Visitors
Finding somewhere to stay in Northern Colorado seems like an easy task since we, as natives, know our cities like the back of our hands. For out-of-town visitors, however, the confusion's a little thicker.
Which city is the best? Which hotels are rated the highest? What's an inexpensive place to crash that isn't someone's murder basement? TripHappy.com hopes to answer all these questions for Northern Colorado visitors-- though I had a few speedbumps.
For one, Windsor, Longmont, and Greeley are listed as 'no accomodations available'. Since these towns are a huge part of Northern Colorado, it's a little odd they weren't included.
Secondly, we have some concerns about their 'best places' since one of them is right smack dab in the middle of one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Northern Colorado.
Regardless, for anyone travelling to Loveland or Fort Collins, the information is definitely useful.
Fort Collins: Loomis and Mountain Ave
The website lists this area as having the best accomodations in Fort Collins based on its review-aggregating technology of 43 hostels, hotels, and AirBnBs. The highest rated space on the site in this area is a vibrant apartment for rent just steps from the downtown shops.
Loveland: E 11th Street and Railroad Ave
Over a thousand reviews were pulled from 31 hostels, hotels, and AirBnB properties to find the top area in Loveland: downtown off of E. Eisenhower and right next to Lake Loveland. The highest rated place to stay is again an AirBnB apartment, this one boasting a private landscaped yard and impeccable reviews.
