Target is now giving you store credit for your used clothes.

The company partnered with ThredUp, an online consignment shop, to begin accepting "high-quality" children's or women's clothing, bags, and shoes, in exchange for store gift cards.

Items can be dropped off at select Target stores, or shipped via FedEx and UPS (for which Target will pay shipping).

Clothes that Target will not accept will be recycled responsibly unless the customer would like them to be returned.

So how much can you expect to earn from donating your used clothes and items to Target?

Of course, there's always the possibility you'll earn absolutely nothing. Items listed under $60 will be paid upfront, while items listed over $60 will be listed as consignment - meaning you'll get paid once the item sells.
