Matt Kenseth held off Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Greg Biffle to win his 2nd Daytona 500. The race started under the lights last night because of number of rain delays, but didn’t finish until early this morning because of a fiery crash involving Juan Pablo Montoya. NASCAR delayed the race for 2 hours after Montoya slammed into a Jet Dryer Truck during a caution.

For the 1st time in its 54th history, the Daytona 500 has been postponed for Rain. More rain in the forecast today will make it a night race. The 500 has been pushed back to 5 p.m. tonight (Mountain Time) It rained all afternoon yesterday and then a rainy forecast for the evening prevented NASCAR from running the Race under the lights last night.
