This weekend's race marks the 60th running of the Daytona 500 and Manning will be at the wheel of a Toyota pace car that will lead 40 nascars to the green flag this Sunday...

Fans of #22 Joey Logano got a taste of victory Sunday afternoon as he walked away with the victory at the 57th running of the Daytona 500. It was Logano's first victory in what is considered the "Super Bowl" of Nascar, after he finished fifth in qualifying...

We have almost made it through the toughest few weeks of the year for a sports fan. The time between when the Super Bowl ends and the beginning of the NASCAR season is a vast wasteland of nothingness.

Matt Kenseth held off Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Greg Biffle to win his 2nd Daytona 500. The race started under the lights last night because of number of rain delays, but didn’t finish until early this morning because of a fiery crash involving Juan Pablo Montoya. NASCAR delayed the race for 2 hours after Montoya slammed into a Jet Dryer Truck during a caution.

For the 1st time in its 54th history, the Daytona 500 has been postponed for Rain. More rain in the forecast today will make it a night race. The 500 has been pushed back to 5 p.m. tonight (Mountain Time) It rained all afternoon yesterday and then a rainy forecast for the evening prevented NASCAR from running the Race under the lights last night.

Ten years ago this week, ten years ago this very weekend, this very race, we lost the best race car driver ever! Growing up, it was a Sunday tradition to head over to my grandpas house and watch old number 3 spin a guy or two out and always make the NASCAR race interesting, and winning a lot of the time too...
