Go from night owl to early bird with a few simple changes.

I'll admit that I'm an early bird. My favorite time of day is right before the sun breaks the horizon. It's the most peaceful time of day and any chance I get to experience it with a cup of coffee in hand makes me a happy camper. However, I know not everyone is like me.

But you could be in three weeks.

That's according to a study that was done by the University of Birmingham, University of Surrey, and Monash University in Australia. The findings, published in the journal Sleep Medicine, say it only take s few weeks to transform your sleep schedule. However, it does come with a little bit of commitment.

Researchers suggest doing the following to turn yourself into an early bird catching that worm...

1. Eat dinner before 7 p.m.
2. Go to bed two to three hours earlier (most test subjects were going to sleep at 2:30 a.m.)
3. Eat breakfast as soon as possible after waking
4. Open the blinds and get some morning sunshine
