Coloradans are pretty good at a lot of things: skiing, hiking, and now...sleeping.

We can thank Premier Inn for this new revelation. In a recent study, the company analyzed Google data to see which states search for sleeping advice the most, and which ones, well, don't.

According to their findings, Colorado is the third-best state at sleeping, trailing only behind Florida and California (there's a reason the movie isn't called Sleepless in Denver).

On the other hand, Texas, Utah, and New York have the most trouble sleeping.

But if you happen to be a Colorado insomniac, fear not. According to Premier Inn, these are the best things you can do to get some much-needed shut-eye:

  • keep your sleep patterns consistent by choosing a regular bedtime and wake-up time
  • keep your bedroom dark and cool
  • make your bedroom your sanctuary with comfortable pajamas, pillows, etc.
  • exercise for at least 30 minutes during the day, but take time to unwind before bed

The study failed to mention if Colorado's love for, uh, marijuana has anything to do with our ability to sleep. I'll let you be the judge of that.
