Sparx Challenges Todd to a Footrace in the K99 Parking Lot [VIDEO]

It was supposed to be the big race. Sparx challenged me to a footrace in the K99 parking lot. We even bet donuts on it. I was fairly confident, but I never expected what actually happened. This YouTube video shows how it went down:

I called my wife and said, "I'm injured".

She said, "What did you do?"

I said, "Sparx and I raced in the parking lot, and I fell down".

She said, "How old are you? 51? 51-year-olds don't race in the parking lot".

What Happened?

Here is what I think happened:

I was very confident going into the race, maybe too confident. I was not wearing proper attire. I had on a pair of jeans that tend to slip down a bit when I walk or run I guess. So, just a few steps in, I was trying to take bigger steps than my jeans would allow. The result was a face plant in the parking lot. I hit my shoulder, my knee and my hand. I ended up with some pretty good scrapes. Lesson learned. I won't be racing again any time soon.
