What's in word? Well, depending on the word, it could be a lot of things or maybe just one bad thing.

Over the past couple of years, we've had many different words thrown around by so many people, and between dealing with all of the craziness that's been going on from our own neighborhoods to all over the world, there are just some words that we're completely over.

I can certainly say one word that I've used and heard more over the past two years than I heard in my previous 40+ years of being on planet Earth is "pandemic". That one gets my personal vote.

I'm so sick of that word and now I'm at the point where it is starting to make me angry when that word is even muttered. I usually get over it pretty quickly by finding my happy place, but some days it's tougher than others.

I had a fun discussion over the holiday break with some friends about this and brought it up on Facebook asking what word(s) or phrases you were sick of and want to see retired in 2022 and got some interesting responses.

Let's just say I'm not the only one sick of the word "pandemic" and others closely associated with it.

Most of these words and phrases that I received during this fun little experiment are COVID-related things, but there were also a few that weren't.

So, let's take a look at some words that Coloradans are just sick and tired of. And if you feel like we missed some, chime in with yours!
