Sam Hunt is the Latest Artist With a 'Talking' Country Hit

Sam Hunt is on fire right now. This guy is selling tons of music and tons of tickets to see his live shows. He has created quite a stir with his debut album. His first single "Leave the Night On" went to number one and the follow up "Take Your Time" is flying up the charts. His latest is one of those songs that you either love or hate. We get lots of requests for it and also get lots of requests not to play it. It has a 'talking' lead vocal, which some people find rather odd.

We have had a long history of country songs with a 'talking' style of vocal. Who can forget 'Convoy' or Chris LeDoux and 'This Cowboy's Hat?' Here is Sam's latest big hit and few of my favorite 'talking' country songs over the last few years.
