Reusable Cups Are Coming To Coors Field
When you visit Coors Field in Denver and want to get a drink, your cup is going to be a little different. Coors Field has announced a partnership with a company that will provide reusable cups to the Colorado ballpark for its visitors to enjoy their beverages.
The announcement was made by Coors Field on Friday that disposable cups will be a thing of the past.
The Colorado Rockies are dedicated to adapting as we work toward a more sustainable operation at Coors Field.
Siad Chief Customer Officer and Vice President of Ballpark Operations, Kevin Khan, in the press release.
The reusable cups are from a company named r.World and they are the nation's number-one reuse platform. When you order a drink at Coors Field, you will get your r.World reusable cup to drink out of. When you are finished, instead of throwing the cup away, you will toss it into a return bin and r.World will clean, sanitize, and return the cups to Coors Field to be used over and over again.
These reusable r.Cups are already in place at concert venues such as Red Rocks, Fiddler's Green, the Buell Theater, and more.
In August 2024, Coors Field was able to eliminate more than 20,000 single-use cups from ending up in a Colorado landfill. Imagine how many more cups will not end up in the trash in 2025 from the ballpark. The reduction in single-use cups in the trash will be substantial in 2025 and beyond.
