Four Colorado Red Lobster Restaurants Have Closed, Here’s Where
Chain restaurants across Colorado have had a hard time staying open. It is becoming much more common to drive to your favorite restaurant to only be greeted by a closed sign.
It is an unfortunate reality of the current times. if you love cheddar biscuits, we have some bad news for you.
Four Red Lobster locations will be closed in Colorado.
Why Red Lobster?
Red Lobster restaurants across the nation are having difficult times. It has been reported that over 50 Red Lobster locations will close. Many locations are even auctioning off furniture and equipment.
A major factor as to why so many locations are closing is that Red Lobster is trying to bounce back from a business catastrophe last year. The chain offered endless shrimp for $20 and lost $20 million in revenue.
Red Lobster looks like they are heading to bankruptcy. Here are the locations that have abruptly shut down in Colorado via CBS.
- Denver: E. Northfield Blvd.
- Lakewood: S. Wadsworth Blvd.
- Lone Tree: 9067 E. Westview Rd.
- Wheat Ridge: 4455 Wadsworth Blvd.
The Closures Are Not Permanent... For Now
CBS says that for now the Red Lobster restaurants are temporarily closed. There is no clear sign of whether or not they will reopen or not.
It seems strange that a restaurant would temporarily close, however, there is a glimmer of hope that the Red Lobster locations in Denver, Lakewood, Lone Tree, and Wheat Ride could return.
Yes, many Coloradans are upset that they can not dine at their favorite Red Lobster. I am thinking about all of the employees at the chain restaurants that are now looking for work.
