Hard cooking eggs is an art. I don't care who you talk to, everyone has their own technique and swears by it. I like to fill a large pan with water, add my eggs, cover the pan and bring to a boil. Once I've done that, for me the perfection begins, but Food Network star Alton Brown has a completely different approach to the best and easiest hard cooked eggs you've ever made.

I've never done the eggs in the oven like Alton Brown, I say it's worth a try, especially if they really do peel like that. ")

To finish telling you abut my perfect eggs, once the water starts to boil I remove the pot from the heat and let sit, covered for 12 minutes. I then move the pan to the sink where I run cold water over them and add a couple of cups of ice. After about five minutes I peel them if I'm making Deviled Eggs or Egg Salad, otherwise I sit down with them and start coloring them for Easter.

Have fun dying eggs and eating them too!
