Medicine is intended to help people feel better, recover faster from an illness or operation, and make life a little bit easier for those using it. There are a variety of medicines that a person will take in their life, but the most common ones are usually ibuprofen, Tylenol, and Motrin. These are commonly bought in stores, and some use them daily, some use them when they are needed, and others use them rarely. When medicine doesn't do what it is supposed to, it can be frustrating, and in rare occurrences, it can actually make you sick. A children's medicine sold in Colorado has recently been recalled, and you might want to throw it out if your kids use it.

Ibuprofen is something that many kids need to use. It can help relieve pain, help with headaches, or help them relax. It is a medicine that is typically used without thought, but you may want to throw it away if you have some, as a recall has been issued for a children's ibuprofen that is being sold in Colorado. One brand has been recalled after it was determined that the use of a foreign substance was discovered in some bottles, and nearly 90,000 bottles of Children’s Ibuprofen Oral Suspension, USP have been recalled. Complaints have been issued about a gel-like mass and black particles in the medicine. For those wondering how serious the recall is, it is a Class 2 recall, which is the second-highest. As mentioned above, the recall issued for the children's ibuprofen is class two. There are three classes of recalls, with class one being the most serious, meaning any use of the product could result in serious health consequences. A class two, as the one above is, means use of the product could cause temporary health consequences, and a class three recall is not likely to cause health issues. If in doubt about whether you should continue to use the medicine that is being recalled, ask your personal doctor. It may also depend on what the medicine is used for, on if you should stop using it immediately or keep taking it.
