Poudre Fire Authority Responds to Blaze on Hobbit Street [PICTURES]
Poudre Fire Authority responded to an attic fire at an apartment building yesterday morning in Fort Collins. The fire was reported just after 5 a.m. Tuesday at 1050 Hobbit Street in Fort Collins.
All 16 people in the apartment building were evacuated. The fire was contained to the attic of the building and was brought under control in approximately 15 minutes. Three apartments suffered smoke damage — which will leave three residents without a home while the damage is cleaned and repaired.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
