Nothing Says Adulthood Like Getting Excited About The Local Farmers Market
Two words. Kettle Corn. That's only one of many reasons why I love a good farmers' market.
Luckily, in Northern Colorado, we have plenty of options. Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Timnath, and Windsor all have great farmers' markets, so let's break it down by city.
The Farmers Market in Fort Collins
Happening every Saturday from 9-1 in Old Town Fort Collins is the Larimer County Farmers Market. You can find anything from fresh-cut flowers to sourdough bread.
The Farmers Market in Timnath
This one is right up the road from me, so you know I'll be there on the 2nd and 4th of every month until October. Local vendors give off small-town vibes. You can find the action on Main Street in downtown Timnath.
The Farmers Market in Loveland
Located at Fairgrounds Park, this charming farmers' market is very popular in Northern Colorado. From 9-1 every Sunday, you'll find breakfast burritos, freshly baked bread, and, of course, kettle corn.
You'll also get live music, fresh meats, and local honey. Also, starting this year, the Loveland Farmers Market will feature a different theme every weekend. Like Christmas in July happening...in July.
The Farmers Market in Greeley
The Greeley Summer Farmers' Market is open for business every Saturday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. The summer season runs through Halloween.
For sale, you'll find local produce, baked goods, and local vendors.
Located in Greeley, in Downtown Greeley near Lincoln Park.
Local vendors include Pope Farms Produce and Garden Center, Tigges Farm, and the Farmers' Pantry.
The Farmers Market in Windsor
One of the most family-friendly events in Windsor is the Windsor Farmers Market, located at Boardwalk Community Park, and it runs from June 6th through September 5th, from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
So pack up the family wagon and enjoy the beautiful Northern Colorado weather at your local farmers' market.
