This Colorado City Has Highest Divorce Rate in the Nation
When I was growing up it was extremely common to have divorced parents. As a millennial, I remember thinking it was strange when my friend's parents were together. Years later, it is interesting to see that divorce is still extremely common. Especially in Colorado.
Colorado has higher divorce rates than the majority of the country. The top reason for divorce in Colorado due to lack of family support, which means that one partner is not as invested in their family as the other and the relationship would be better if the couple went their different ways.
One Colorado city has the highest divorce rate out of every other city in the state. And shockingly, the divorce rate is higher than the majority of other cities and towns in the nation.
Pueblo Has A Major Divorce Problem
Joslyn Law Firm looked at U.S. Census Bureau information regarding divorce and separation.
They ranked the top 25 cities based on the highest and lowest divorce rates. The data shows that 14.7% of Pueblo's population is divorced. They came up with this percentage by looking at the total population that is 15-years-old and over.

Pueblo has the seventh-highest divorce rate in the nation. No other Colorado cities or towns made the top 25 list for having the highest divorce rates.
Separation Rates in Colorado
