Marty Dreith has been announced as the 2016 Parade Grand Marshal for the Larimer County Fair & Rodeo. Dreith is a 40 plus year worker at the Larimer County Fair.

About Marty

Marty has a long history with his involvement at the Larimer County Fair. In 1959, Marty showed a cow at his first Larimer County Fair as a part of 4-H and continued to show for years to come. In 1975, he began as a part-time maintenance worker at the county fair. After Marty’s father retired in 1987 as the full-time position of maintenance supervisor, Marty applied for the job. The Larimer County Fair Board selected Marty for the position out of 87 applicants. Marty has worked every year since with a short hiatus in the early 2000s and up until 2014 when he retired. Marty couldn’t stay away for long and returned to work part-time in 2015.
