Kites in the Park 2018 Photo Gallery [PICTURES]

My wife and I really enjoyed the annual Kites in the Park on Sunday at Spring Canyon Community Park. The event was cancelled last year because of a crazy May snowstorm and this year we honestly didn't know if weather might cancel this event until the last minute.

Fortunately, the weather held out and it was a beautiful day. The clouds made a nice background for pictures, but I am sure the people flying kites would tell you they could have used a little more wind. I did get a private kite flying lesson from one of the pros at the event, but I could barely get the kite off the ground. It is better left to professionals and children.
