What Fast Food Chain is Reopening in Northern Colorado This Week?

There are many fast-food options in Northern Colorado, but most people have their preferred places to go. Most enjoy going to locations that are closest to their home, on their way to work, or near a store they often visit. When one of these places closes, it forces customers to call an audible, go to a different location, or stop eating there altogether. One popular fast food chain has had a location closed for months in Northern Colorado, and many are wondering when it will reopen.

McDonald's Closed in Berthoud

Back in May, the McDonald's located at 1273 Grand Market Ave in Berthoud closed. It has remained closed since, and many are left wondering when and if it will reopen. While caution tape surrounds the building and it looks like construction or a remodel is being done, very little has happened since the closure, and there are no machines or crews spotted around the building most days. Some speculated that the store could open on July 8, but that will not happen, as there is still plenty of work to be done. On the door, there is a sign that reads, 'The store will be closed for maintenance repairs until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience. ' So what exactly are they doing?

Why is McDonald's Closed in Berthoud?

As seen in the picture above, there is a sign that reads, ‘Uneven Surface,' and if you walk around the McDonald's in Berthoud, you will notice plenty of cracks and that the parking lot and sidewalk are uneven. The ground is uneven and needs to be taken care of before the store can reopen, and it looks like the fast food chain still has a ways to go before opening once again. With the foundation in question, could the businesses around the McDonald's close soon for the same reason? It is unknown how long the fast food chain will remain closed, but after a couple of months and little progress made, it won't be this week, or even perhaps this month.
