Like many people, I got into baking during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was good at it, and I always like to try my hand at something I have never done before. I started off with focaccia and quickly moved into more challenging breads such as Hawaiian rolls, bagels, and pretzels.

My Baking Journey During the Pandemic

As you can imagine, I was going through flour like crazy and seemingly couldn't keep enough of it in the house, especially when I started gifting loaves of bread to friends and family. I tried all sorts of flours, and when I finally acquired a bag of King Arthur flour, I didn't have to look any further.

While my bread-baking days have slowed down due to trying my best to maintain my intake of carbohydrates, it still gets me excited to create a loaf of bread now and then. Just writing this makes me excited for cooler weather and the opportunity to buy King Arthur flour directly from the source in Colorado.

This Bakery Bar In Fort Collins Is Absolutely Wonderful

At Retreat Bakery Bar in Fort Collins, you'll find an amazing selection of awesome baked goods along with a wide drink menu.
It's easily one of the most laid back places in the entire city, and is certainly one of Northern Colorado's most underrated spots. When we went, I had a ton of fun just hanging out.
I'd also like to note that the staff was incredibly friendly and extremely helpful when helping us find what we wanted.
We got ourselves a good sampling of the spot's different options, so let's take a look at it now.
