Maxx’s JBS Greeley Spotlight: This Kansas Native Found Friends and a Promotion at JBS Greeley

For months now, I've been talking with JBS Greeley employees about how JBS has helped advance their careers, and one thing that really impressed me about Mercedes Rodriguez' story was how easily she transitioned to a new community with JBS.

A Kansas native, Mercedes learned about JBS as a student at Kansas State, completed a summer internship with JBS in Nebraska, and then had her first full-time job with JBS in Nebraska.

After about 2 years on the job, Mercedes was relocated to the JBS Greeley plant last year. She moved here without knowing anyone, which could be hard for anyone. But she's met so many people on the job who have since become friends — people she can spend time with in her personal life.

She's also earned a promotion during her time in Greeley! It's just a great accomplishment after all the hard work she put into college, her internship, and her early job assignments.
