As I've been meeting employees at JBS Greeley, I've continually heard about the opportunities, diversity, teamwork, and respect they found at the company.

One example is Jessica Ensinia, who came to JBS Greeley about 10 years ago after about 9 years in the beef industry outside JBS. She started at JBS Greeley as a maintenance planner (a management support position). Before long, she accepted a role as the process safety management supervisor in the Boiler and Refrigeration Department.

Since then, some of her favorite memories have been training experiences with her group. The HAZMAT training allowed her team to try something new together and grow in both knowledge and teamwork, while she and several colleagues carpooled to PSM certification in Kansas. Not only was the training amazing, but they studied together and strengthened their work relationships, too.

"It’s not your everyday 8 to 5 job," Jessica said. "It’s a very physical job ... but it’s also fun because you get to know all these different people that you wouldn’t have met outside of this job. People from different countries."

JBS Greeley has been good to her family, too, as her mother, aunts, and uncles all have worked there, too. She hopes her children will someday work at JBS.

"I am proud of the fact that I came in here as a maintenance planner and was able to show that I could be so much more," Jessica said. "The opportunity is there if you want it, and that’s my favorite part of JBS."

It's clear to me that JBS Greeley is making a positive impact on the lives of Northern Coloradans. I'm excited to share some of their incredible stories with you, and if you or someone you know is ready to see their career dedication and motivation rewarded, learn more about the opportunities at JBS at jbsfoodsgroup.com.
