A recent study shows that more than 50% of Coloradans are not getting a good night's sleep. That can affect your work, family, your overall well-being. What's up?

All we want to do is lie down, rest our heads on the pillow, and fall asleep for about eight hours. Apparently, for a lot of us in Colorado, that is too much to ask.

Taking a look at what Coloradans say are the top five reasons for "waking during the night" might help all of those who are frustrated.

Sure, a lot of folks in Colorado "sleep like a baby" as soon as their heads hit the pillow. They rest the night away, presumably dreaming of island getaways and warm blankets.

For many, many others in Colorado, sleep becomes a chore: Sleep a little, up for a while; sleep for a little, up for a while, etc. With an estimated five million people in Colorado and half of us not sleeping "well," we all are either suffering from it or know of someone who does.
