Colorado highways, along with highways across the nation, are in danger because there are Cybertrucks out on the roads; most of which, shouldn't be.

Elon Musk's high-tech Cybertruck, has a lot of gizmos, it's able to get 340 miles on a charge, it has an 11,000-pound towing capacity, and it's also able to go from 0-60 m.p.h. in 2.6 seconds.

That last bit of info is what Colorado should be concerned about.

A Tesla Cybertruck costs about $61,000, which puts it out of range from most people in Colorado when it comes to buying a vehicle. I know I could never afford one; I'm more of a "second owner" kind of car shopper.

Colorado Drivers Need to Avoid Cybertrucks on the Roads

According to CNN, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is having Tesla recall all 3,878 Cybertrucks that have been delivered between December of 2023 to April of 2024.

Tesla Cybertrucks Being Recalled Due to Dangerous Issue

Cybertrucks are not being recalled because of some "little random thing," they're being recalled because they're accelerators might stick in the "go" position.

All that technology, and here we are... the accelerator sticks. It actually sounds like one of my previous "second owner" cars, which costed much less than a Cybertruck.

From CNN:

Unlike many Tesla recalls, this one cannot be fixed with a simple over-the-air software update. Tesla will have to have owners respond to letters and bring the Cybertrucks into its service centers for a repair at no charge.

According to CNN, this recall covers just about every single Cybertruck that has ever been actually delivered, so be on the lookout.

Hopefully, if you do see one on the road, it's being driven very carefully to a place to get the accelerator problem fixed.
