Is a Popular Taco Shop in Greeley Closing for Good?
Ask anyone in Northern Colorado who frequents the city of Greeley where a great place to get tacos is and you will usually get the same answer over and over again. Tacos are a way of life in Colorado. Some tacos are leaps and bounds better than others.
One of these places is known for great tacos and a killer tequila selection. Located in the heart of downtown Greeley, Luna's Tacos and Tequila has been slinging epic tacos and outstanding margaritas for nearly seven years. But is it the end of Luna's Tacos and Tequila in Greeley as we know it?
Scrolling through Facebook this afternoon, I saw a post from Luna's Tacos and Tequila that made me instantly stop to read it. The post seemingly starts by saying thank you to all the loyal patrons who have visited Luna's Tacos and Tequila since 2018.

Luna's Tacos and Tequila said that we have all been through a lot since the opening of the downtown Greeley restaurant and serving tacos and tequila to all of us who loved going there. However, the restaurant appears to be one of the greatest challenges.
Is Luna's Tacos and Tequila in Greeley Closing?
According to the Facebook post from Luna's Tacos and Tequila, the restaurant owners have decided to push the pause button on the downtown Greeley location to reenergize, refocus, rejuvenate, and come back stronger. What does this mean? We are not entirely sure. It could be a temporary closure for the restaurant for a couple of weeks. Maybe even longer.
Reasons for what appear to be a temporary closure of Luna's Tacos and Tequila are unclear at this point as well as when the restaurant will reopen. Luna's Tacos and Tequila did say that they are currently putting hard work and resources into bringing Luna's Tacos and Tequila location back better than ever. So, there is a glimmer of hope we will see the amazing taco restaurant reopen in the heart of downtown Greeley.
