Coloradans Are Sadly Most At Risk For Being Victims of This Crime
Crime has been a rising issue in Colorado. In fact, Colorado was recently given an F grade regarding safety. This F grade is alarming for many of us and unfortunately, the state that we love is the second least safe state in the entire country.

New data by Reveal took a look and calculated which states had the highest rate of cybercrime. Specifically, they looked at identity theft.
Identity theft is when a criminal uses your information without your approval. This could be your information or using your banking information to make illegal transactions.
Where Colorado Ranks for Identity Theft
Colorado ranked second among states with the highest average rate of identity theft. 12 out of 100,000 residents have had a situation or crime where identity theft is involved.
