High-Five Mother Earth with Worms, Beer and Music this Weekend in Fort Collins
Mother Earth needs to be celebrated and Fort Collins gets that part correct with the Sustainable Living Associations Earth Day celebration.
The event is free to attend. Guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Larimer Food Bank. The event is known for having lots and lots of earth-loving vendors to check out. Also, this is a great opportunity to chat with many non-profits who are always looking for support and volunteers.
Earth Day Fort Collins is definitely family-friendly with lots of kid's activities and crafts. Hopefully, the worms make it back this year, always fun to leave with a cup of worms for my garden. Check out live music, guest speakers, local food, and of course a beer garden.
The day kicks off with yoga because yoga makes us happy. A flow with Old Town Yoga Studio begins at 10 am.
The stage will be full of fresh local sounds.
- Autumnal, an indie-pop band from Fort Collins
- The House Band from Fort Collins School of Rock
- May Be Fern of Fort Collins
- Satellite Pilot, a psychedelic indie-pop band from Loveland CO
The 12th Annual Earth Day Fort Collins is happening at Civic Center Park(the grassy area next to the Larimer County Justice Center) this Saturday, April 23 from 11 am to 5 pm.
