
Harry Potter-themed Pop-up Bar in Denver Shut Down
A pop-up bar with a Harry Potter theme opened up in Denver last week with magical potion cocktails and wizarding decor. It would certainly be on any bucket list for a fan of the series of books or the movies.
Denver Harry Potter-Themed Pop-Up Bar Abruptly Closes
The pop-up bar called The Underground School of Magic was located in the basement of the restaurant, Church and Union, at 1433 17th Street in downtown Denver. Opening on May 6, the Harry Potter-themed bar was supposed to run through June 21.

According to KDVR, the wizard-themed pop-up bar has closed less than a week after opening to customers. The restaurant confirmed with KDVR that it will "no longer be moving forward" with the Harry Potter-themed pop-up bar.
The reasoning stems from the request, or possibly a demand from the entertainment company, Warner Bros. The film company owns the rights to all Harry Potter films, television series, and worldwide merchandising.

An employee of the restaurant told KDVR in a voicemail that the Harry Potter-themed pop-up bar was "too magical" and Warner Bros. asked for it to be taken down. Which is kind of a bummer.
The Denver Pop-Up Had Magical Drinks and Wizard-Themed Food
The Harry Potter-themed pop-up bar menu looked pretty enchanting, too. Cocktails called Liquid Luck and Butter Beer. The food menu included items with Harry Potter themes such as the Hogwarts House Rolls, Luna Lovegood's Whipped Ricotta, and Hagrid's Meatballs.
