A Greeley Police officer who was shot on duty last week was released from the hospital according to a department Facebook post on Monday.

The officer had been injured during a shoot-out with two suspects near the area of 37th St. and Marigold Ave. late Thursday night (Nov. 15).

Authorities had responded to a call of shots fired from a white Chevrolet pickup and later followed the vehicle in pursuit.

A suspect was also injured during the gunfire but was in "stable" condition after the incident.

Another suspect was later found deceased in their residence after barricading themselves in the building.
