Getting rid of kidney stones is easier than you think, at least that is what experts say. With one simple step you can prevent kidney stones, but what is the simple step?

Whenever one hears "in one simple step" or "it's as simple as" immediately you become suspicious. Nothing is that easy, if it were everyone would be healthy and thin. But some doctors say you can do this and nearly eliminate your chances of  a kidney stone.

Kidney stones are more common than once thought, 13 percent of all men and nearly 10 percent of all woman have had or have kidney stones. Studies have shown that those who do get kidney stones, as many as 50 percent, will develop then again within 5 years of treatment.

The solution to kidney stones, the one simple step, water. It's true, reports indicate that it can be as simple as drinking more water. The American College of Physicians agree that patience with a past history of kidney stones should be producing 2 liters of urine a day. They say that it doesn't matter if it is bottled water or tap water. In fact, research shows that kidney stones can be reduced by 50 percent. Experts follow up by saying that cola beverages are not a good idea and could be forming those kidney stones.

The one simple step also includes a few other simple steps to really cut down your chances of developing kidney stones. This is definitely one of those, ya, if we all ate salads with no dressing and less french fries we'd all be thin, ending the U.S. obesity issues, but... Studies indicate that if you are prone to kidney stones that eating less animal protein, chocolate, beets, nuts, rhubarb, strawberries, tea and wheat bran you are less likely to develop kidney stones.
