CO Should Consider Four Day Work Week
Work is exhausting, and for most, it is dreadful to get up and go each day. Mondays are considered the worst day of the week by many. Tuesday isn't much better, and by Wednesday and Thursday, most employees are exhausted and drained. Many employees are working more hours than they ever have, yet they rarely get to enjoy their money because they are at work so much. Instead of having employees who are exhausted and dragging at the end of the week, why not let employees work fewer days? If Colorado were to move to a four-day work week, would it help make morale better in the workplace, and would it make for a better society?
Four-Day Work Week in Colorado
Most people who work a full-time job work five days a week and work eight-hour shifts. It doesn't sound that bad, but doing it can be exhausting. Many employees will admit to dragging at the end of the week and may not be doing their best work on Friday. At some places, employees will leave early and admit to not giving it their all at their job, as they are already focused on the weekend. Instead of having exhausted employees in the office and paying them to do half the work they are expected to, or not giving it their all, why not lessen the work week to four days, and help boost energy and morale in the work environment? It would likely benefit society as well as work production for many companies in the Centennial State. In fact, this could become a real thing in 2027 or 2028, as Colorado is considering moving to 32-hour workweeks. You can get all the details by clicking this link.
Why Colorado Should Do a Four-Day Work Week
Mental health is a big thing these days, and many will admit that work plays a huge part in their daily stress in life. Far too many are overworked, tired, and stressed from deadlines at work. By giving employees a three-day weekend, they can clear their minds, relax, and enjoy life a little bit more. We only get one life, and spending so much of it in an office takes a toll. It would likely lead to people being friendlier, calmer, and less time in the car would lead to less road rage on the roads as well, and likely fewer wrecks. Living in Colorado, many work so much they don't get to enjoy the mountains, and with an extra day off work each week, it allows residents to get out and take advantage of this beautiful state.

Would you be for or against working only four days a week in Colorado? There is a chance it could become a reality in the near future. Make sure to click the link in the second paragraph above to get all the details.
