Nature enthusiasts have been waiting for two years for this exciting time at the Gardens on Spring Creek! They are getting ready to open the doors to a $6 million improvement, including a year-round Butterfly House, five acres of new gardens and a huge cactus collection, the largest in United States, in fact. There is also an expanded gift shop, visitor center and a new admission fee.

The Gardens do events year round, including one of my personal favorites, the Garden of Lights holiday lights display, coming December 13. There is also a big plant sale in the spring and summer concerts to look forward to.

The official ribbon cutting is this Saturday, November 16 at 9 a.m. You get free admission if you attend the ribbon cutting. The Gardens normal hours are every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission:
Adults: $11
