Every year downtown Fort Collins is taken over by cyclists wearing crazy costumes, it's time for Tour de Fat.
Tour de Fat a sea of bicycles and crazy costumes in the name of beer, fun and charity. And it happens this weekend.
WHAT IS TOUR DE FAT?
A festival to promote the use of bicycles as a sustainable form of transportation. All proceeds going to local non-profit organizations. Three stages, a cabaret tent, games, bikes, food and beer!
WHEN AND WHERE DOES TOUR DE FAT TAKE PLACE?
Civic Center Park/Washington Park in Old Town Fort Collins. It all kicks off with parade reregistration this Saturday, August 30 at 9 a.m.
WHERE IS THE BIKE PARADE ROUTE?
Tour de Fat includes food and music throughout the day. A great weekend event to relax and unwind after a busy week. There will be music on three stages, a 1000 person dance contest, fashion/costume contest and more.
The New Belgium Tour de Fat benefits Overland Mountain Bike Club, Bike Fort Collins and Fort Collins Bike Co-op.
