
Colorado is Expected to Lose This Clothing Retailer
When it comes to outdoor clothing, many are loyal to one brand or another. When my Wife and I relocated back to Colorado years ago, we didn't have winter coats that could withstand the Cold winter months.
Quality Winter Coat For the Colorado Cold
So we did what anyone would do in need of a winter coat: we went shopping. We wound up in the Promenade Shops at Centerra and stumbled upon a great sale at Eddie Bauer. Both of us got matching down-filled parkas for a fraction of the price we would have spent at any other store for a single coat.

I love that coat, and I still wear it to this very day when the Northern Colorado temperatures call for it. Among the down-filled parkas from Eddie Bauer, I have also accumulated a few other jackets from Eddie Bauer. What can I say, I love the quality of the jackets this company produces.
Bankruptcy Could Change Everything For Eddie Bauer
According to Yahoo Finance, the North America store operator of Eddie Bauer is expected to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The expectation is that the retail operator may close all of its North American stores, which have more than 200 locations across the United States.

Yahoo Finance says that some Eddie Bauer locations have already implemented liquidation sales ahead of the announcement of the closures. The store operator's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing will not impact Eddie Bauer's brand manufacturing, wholesale, e-commerce operations, or international retail operations outside of the United States and Canada.
