During the summer, there are many types of treats and foods that people enjoy. Hot dogs on the grill, hamburgers cooked outside, ice cream, s'mores, and of course, popsicles. There is a variety of popsicles to enjoy each summer. There are different brands, different flavors, and different styles. They are great to enjoy by the pool, the lake, outside in the backyard, or inside after some time in the summer heat. When it comes to ice pops, which brand is Colorado's favorite, and what is the state's favorite flavor?

Odds are, there is a certain brand and flavor of ice pop that, when you taste it, takes you back to your childhood, and you relive some of the best memories of summers in your past. With so many to choose from, it can be hard to pick a box when at the store. Absn.madonna.edu recently released a study of each state's favorite brand and flavor of ice pops, and according to the study, the most popular ice pop brand in the country is Bomb Pops, with 15 states agreeing it is the best, GoodPop is the favorite in 14 states, and Otter Pops round out the top three with 11 states enjoying them. Colorado does not agree with the majority, but it is one of the 14 states that says GoodPop is the best brand for popsicles.

While picking a brand is tough, it is also tough to pick a flavor to enjoy, as everyone has a favorite. According to the study, the most popular flavor in America is orange, with 16 states stating that it is their favorite. The second most popular flavor is grape, with 11 states enjoying it, and fruit punch is the third most popular flavor, with 5 states choosing it. Colorado apparently disagrees with all of these and wants to be different, as the state's favorite flavor is lime. Only two other states agreed with Colorado, and they are Florida and Maryland.
