Colorado Lottery Has New Bacon-Scented Lottery Tickets [VIDEO]

Honestly, I don't buy lottery tickets on a regular basis, but this time I couldn't resist. The Colorado Lottery has launched the new $1 Makin’ Bacon Scratch ticket featuring a smoky, bacon aroma. Yes, the tickets smell like bacon! The game has the top prize of $4,000 and you will also have the chance to win Bacon For Life.

Special Events

The Lottery will team up with Colorado-based Tender Belly, to host two promotional events on the Front Range celebrating all things bacon.

• Get right in the thick of it at the main gate just outside Security Service Field at 4385 Tutt Blvd. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the Colorado Springs Sky Sox game on August 20.
• Stop and smell the bacon at the Wynkoop Walkway at Wynkoop and 20th Street outside Coors Field from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the Rockies game August 21.

The team will be handing out free bacon samples, promotional items, and scratch tickets on site. Bacon buffs will also have the chance to enter a raffle to win one-pound packs of Tender Belly bacon and “Bacon For A Year”.
