In my personal opinion, I think there are a lot of great options here, but what you do should depend on what you know about the person you are going on a date with. What are their interests? Make sure it is an enjoyable experience. I would also shy away from experiences where you do not really talk to the other person. For example, I believe a movie, a stand-up comedy show, or a sporting event is not an ideal first date. First dates are meant to get to know the other person better.
