Colorado's favorite dog breed is the German Shepherd. According to Forbes, German Shepherds were the second most favored dog breed. 16 states say that German Shepherds are their favorite.

Well-known as a highly trainable and intelligent dog, German shepherds ranked as America’s second favorite dog breed in America. This breed is loyal and known as the most common breed to serve as search and rescue dogs and police K-9s, as well as aids in the military.

German Shepherds are such great dogs. I hope I get to have one be a part of my family sometime within my lifetime. Every German Shepherd I have met has been nothing but an absolute sweetheart to me.
