Growing up, there was no better feeling (at least for me) than when your parents would hand you over a letter or some cards that were sent specifically FOR YOU.

Now, we have to leaf through the piles of bills, junk mail, and random post card reminders about that dentist appointment that's coming up in a week.
My mom actually worked at the local postal office for a hot second when I was a kid. I remember seeing all of the mail that would come through to be sorted.
I really thought that the post office was a magical place.
Now, that magic is going to come at a higher price here in Colorado.

What Colorado Residents Need to Know About the New Stamp Prices

USPS Raises Stamp Prices Starting July 13, 2025
The United States Postal Service has raised the first-class Forever Stamp price as well as other postal products, according to a report from USA Today.
This price hike is already in effect as of Sunday, July 13th 2025. These specific stamps (Forever Stamps) went from 75 cents to 78 cents.
That is not the only change to postal product pricing here in the United States.

What’s Behind the USPS Price Increase?
Officials from the United States Postal Service claim that this price increase will provide, "$40 billion in investments in people, technology and infrastructure and continue the modernization and improvement of the Postal Service’s operations and customer experience."
