The City of Fort Collins has announced that the 25th year of Christmas tree recycling will begin Dec 26, 2014 and run through Jan 19, 2015.

Drop-Off Sites for Christmas Trees to be Recycled

  • Edora Park: 1420 E. Stuart St. (Tennis Court Parking Lot Only)
  • Larimer County Landfill 5887 South Taft Hill Road Mon.-Sat. 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
  • Rolland Moore Park 2201 South Shields Street, SE corner of the parking lot
  • Fort Collins Streets Facility 625 Ninth Street, SW corner of Vine Drive and Lemay Ave.
  • Wellington Drop-Off Site will be at the corner of sixth Street and Grant Avenue

NEW THIS YEAR TO THE RECYCLING PROGRAM IN FORT COLLINS

  • All trees will be chipped on-site with easy to follow instructions (please remember to completely remove ALL decorations)

There are many great ways to recycle this season with the City of Fort Collins. In fact, the city has some great recycling avenues for everything from cardboard, to electronics to batteries and tissue paper.

 

Fort Collins and Larimer County will celebrate 25 years of recycling Christmas trees this year.
