The fast casual Mexican chain known for their huge burritos will be moving their headquarters out of the state of Colorado. Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced that they will be closing their Denver headquarters and moving elsewhere.

In the news release, Chipotle stated that they will be moving their headquarters location to Newport Beach, CA. and other exsiting office to Columbus, OH. This move will affect about 400 of Chipotle's employees in Denver and also New York. The company is planning on moving in the fourth quarter of 2018 and some of the employees will be offered relocation and retention packages.

The first Chipotle opened up in in Denver 25 years ago. With Chipotle moving out of Colorado, does that mean they are no longer a Colorado company even though they started in our state? We would love to hear your input on this!
