
Iconic Colorado Burger Spot Expanding with New Broomfield Location
A restaurant that has been operating in Colorado for eighty years is about to have another location. This iconic restaurant is known best for its burgers, and I have had plenty of them in my time living in and visiting my home state.
Cherry Cricket: A Staple Since 1945
Open since 1945, the Cherry Cricket in Denver is somewhat of a destination restaurant. People from far and wide would come just to get a taste of the restaurant's mouth-watering burgers.

From build-your-own burgers to the award-winning staples on the menu, there is something for everyone. Heck, the Cherry Cricket even offers toppings such as peanut butter, raspberry, and grape jam. Let me tell you, if you have never had a burger with peanut butter on it at least once in your life, you are missing out.

In recent years, the Cherry Cricket has become so popular that it has expanded outside of its Denver neighborhood of Cherry Creek into the Ballpark District near Coors Field and a third location in Littleton.
New Location in Broomfield Set to Open
Soon, a fourth Cherry Cricket location will be opening, somewhat closer to those of us who live in Northern Colorado. According to 9 News, the newest location of the iconic Cherry Cricket will open on August 25, where the Old Chicago once stood at 1280 East 1st Avenue.

The new Broomfield location for the Cherry Cricket will be housed in an 8,500-square-foot building with a covered patio, a Burger Garden, and will be able to seat over 325 hungry guests who are craving a world-famous Cherry Cricket burger.
Mark Your Calendar for Burger Bliss
I certainly know what one checkmark item is on my September to-do list as soon as possible, and it totally involves a trip to the newest location of Cherry Cricket in Broomfield.
