Bread N Boards: A Fundraiser for the Food Bank for Larimer County

Stuck with what to get your loved ones for Christmas this year? Coming up on Saturday, December 3rd, you can take care of Christmas shopping and help out the Food Bank for Larimer County.

The 11th Annual Bread N Boards fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sears Trostel Lumber & Millwork at 1500 Riverside Ave, in Fort Collins.

A donation of $30, will let you pick from hundreds of beautiful hardwood cutting boards created by Sears Trostel employees. With the purchase of a cutting board, you will also get a free loaf of delicious Great Harvest bread, and a bottle of finishing oil.

One-of-a-kind boards will be part of the Silent Auction, including gourmet cutting boards, new and non-wood ones as well.

The Bread N Boards fundraiser has been going on since 2005 and has raised $224,768 for the Food Bank. Each dollar donated provides $5 worth of food. Last year they raised close to $35,000.
