Ball Arena and Paramount Theatre to lift COVID-19 entry protocols for events

These last two years have been interesting, to say the least. Even after we were able to enjoy live concerts, sports, and other live events, it was still weird with all of the protocols surrounding COVID-19. Most big indoor arenas and event venues had mask rules that made it hard, or in some cases for certain people, impossible, to enjoy the event they were attending. Some facilities, including the Ball Arena in Denver, also required proof of COVID-19 vaccinations or a negative test 72 hours before an event. That all changes on March 12.

Kroenke Sports and Entertainment announced that beginning March 12, "all current event COVID-19 entry protocols which include providing proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or providing proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the specific event and wearing a face mask at all times except when actively eating and drinking will be lifted." This includes both the Ball Arena and the Paramount Theatre. Senior Vice President of Venue Operations Matt Bell said:

“From the beginning of the pandemic, the health, safety and wellness of our fans, staff, vendors, athletes and performers has been our top priority and after discussions with local, state and federal health officials as well as with officials from the National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), National Lacrosse League (NLL) and various concert and entertainment entities, we have decided to lift all current event COVID-19 entry protocols effective on March 12, 2022,”

Events this Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11, will be the last two events held under the current COVID-19 entry restrictions. Certain shows, though, including the upcoming Billie Eilish concert at Ball Arena on March 19, will still implement their own restrictions. You can get more information on the restrictions list at BallArena.com
