Am I the Only One Who Thinks Energy Drinks Taste Like Butt? [POLL]

I am not one to jump on a bandwagon. When I see tons of people are doing something or liking something, I tend to stay away from it and let the masses have it. It is that way with TV shows, movies, products or anything. I try to avoid the 'flavor of the month'. One craze I really cannot embrace is energy drinks.

Is it just me or do all energy drinks taste like butt? Energy drinks are incredibly popular but I just don’t get it. I have tried Monster, Red Bull, Rock Star, 5 Hour Energy, all of them. I have yet to find one that doesn’t make my face scrunch up and make me talk like Sylvester Stallone. I absolutely hate the taste of those things. They actually make coffee seem tasty and I hate coffee.

I have come to the conclusion that it is not the nutrients inside the drink that wake you up, it’s the awful taste. Who can be tired when your taste buds are screaming at you? Help me out here. Is there an energy that doesn’t taste like the rear end of sweaty mule?
