A Huge Thank You on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

I grew up wanting to be in law enforcement. TV cops were my heroes when I was a kid and then when I got to meet a real live police officer I was in awe. I have always had the utmost respect for them and the job they do. Today is a great day to salute them.

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. I can't imagine what they face every day when they go out that door to serve and protect us. They have no idea what they will encounter but will be willing to put their lives on the line for us and they don't even know us. That is quite a special service and gift that we receive from these brave heroes. Thank you for helping us through our troubles, no matter how they were caused, you are there to help us find our way to safety. You are appreciated every single day but today we want our voices heard louder than ever as we express our appreciation. You are our heroes.
