Update 6/23: Wildfire Burning Near Colorado Wyoming Border Doubles in Size
Update 6/23/16 at 5 a.m: The Beaver Creek Fire near the Wyoming border has nearly doubled in size to 7,000 acres. At least 40 residents are threatened by the blaze.
The fire is approximately 15 miles northwest of Walden and two miles south of the Colorado/Wyoming state line. It is burning on private, Routt National Forest and Bureau of Land Management land. It broke out Sunday afternoon.
One firefighter has suffered minor injuries battling the blaze. There are currently 120 firefighters working on the Beaver Creek Fire, as well as two Jackson County bulldozers, four helicopters, four strike teams of engines, three hand crews and 12 miscellaneous overhead.

Updated 6/22/16 at 5 am: A wind shift late Tuesday afternoon caused the Beaver Creek Fire near the Wyoming border to swell to 3,800 acres.
The blaze has prompted authorities to evacuate campers on Independence Mountain, as well as people in the Twisty Pine and Pearl private and recreational residences.
The fire is approximately 15 miles northwest of Walden and two miles south of the Colorado/Wyoming state line. It is burning on both Routt National Forest and Bureau of Land Management land. One hundred and twenty fire personnel are now battling the blaze.

The 200-acre Beaver Creek fire is burning near the Colorado-Wyoming border.
According to the Coloradoan, the fire was first reported late Sunday afternoon and is burning about 20-25 miles northwest of Walden and 2 miles north of Big Creek Lake, just 3 miles south of the Wyoming-Colorado state line.
When it was first reported, it was a little less than 100 acres, but it was hot and windy Sunday, which caused the fire to grow to 200 acres.
There are about 20 staff members and four engines working on fighting the fire, but that number is expected to increase. A helicopter is also making water drops.
