Zander’s Big Day At Susan’s Barn – Brian’s Blog [PICTURES]
Yesterday was a great day. My grandson Zander came to the radio station and spent the day with Grandpa. He started out doing the last hour of our show with us and prepared for his career of taking over for me when I retire. We then loaded up and headed to Susan's barn for a day of fun. First thing he did when he got there was feed the horses some carrots with Susan.
Next he got a piggyback ride from Susan's husband Dr. Bob.
Then it was time for Susan to teach Zander how to throw snowballs against the side of the barn.
Time to take a rest on the hay bales. I love this picture. This is right before he found the rocks out in the field that he would not let go of. What is it about a boy and his rocks?
We then drove home after our big day and he was exhausted. He actually fell asleep on the way home with his rock in his chair. Too cute. Thank you to Susan and Bob for the kindness and giving him and I some wonderful memories. Get your kids outside and away from the TV, there is a beautiful world out there.
